Ch-OMUSUBI is a new live-streaming international exchange platform launched in Japan in January 2022.
In order to ensure a safe and secure community, we have a full membership system and viewers are required to purchase subscriptions. Streaming is free of charge.
About 900 foreigners and Japanese from 84 countries join us as live streamers and about 20,000 mainly Japanese members as viewers.
Our Concept
We aim to create a society where foreigners and Japanese coexist.
1) Verification system for streamers
Streamers are subject to verification by Ch-OMUSUBI. Only approved users can broadcast streams. In addition, if a streamer violates the terms of use, the streamer will be disqualified.
2) Establishment a safe and secure environment for live-streaming
We are doing our utmost to ensure that streamers and viewers can use our service with peace of mind. If any malicious act or behavior is found, we will take severe measures such as forcibly withdrawing from the membership.
3) Contribution to international exchange
Through Ch-OMUSUBI, we will provide 'an opportunity to earn a new source of income while improving Japanese language skills' to foreigners and 'an opportunity for international exchange and multicultural understanding, which is limited by the COVID pandemic' to Japanese residents of Japan.
We will also donate a portion of our profits to public organizations that promote international exchange and Japanese language education, thereby contributing to international exchange and support for foreigners studying the Japanese language in a broad and multifaceted way.
4) Contribution to International Peace
Ch-OMUSUBI aims to be a platform where each and every member can be a global citizen and have mutual consideration and kindness for each other in any international situation.
We hope to contribute to international peace in any way we can through donations to public organizations that promote international exchange and Japanese language education, and by providing support to those affected by the international situation.
Origin of service
Ch-OMUSUBI is operated by FJC Inc, based in Tokyo Japan, which aims to create a society where foreigners and Japanese coexist. In light of the current economic and demographic situation in Japan, we believe that the further development of Japan will require the active participation of foreigners.
However, due to the impact of the COVID pandemic, foreigners who wish to learn Japanese and study in Japan have been forced to give up their studies in Japan, and those who wanted to work in Japan have had to give up their entry into Japan. In other words, we are losing future Japanophiles. Japanese people are also not able to go abroad easily, and the opportunities for multicultural understanding and international exchange have been drastically reduced.
Under such circumstances, we sincerely hope that Ch-OMUSUBI will become a platform for 'Musubi' between foreigners and Japanese.
In addition, the international situation has been shaking violently in recent years, and we will do our best to make Ch-OMUSUBI a platform where members can support each other in any situation.
